Terraria Coming To PS Vita

by Adam Biessener on Mar 28, 2013 at 08:58 AM

Sony's handheld will house the indie adventuring and building gem in all its glory this summer.

Terraria channels 16-bit sidescrolling action with its huge variety of weapons and enemies, plus a little bit of a Minecraft vibe with its huge randomly generated worlds and the extensive building capabilities it gives players. Multiplayer is a huge part of the game, and the Vita version supports up to eight players connecting to the same world for cooperative fortress creation and dungeon exploration.

Terraria has sold over two million copies on PC (thanks in no small part to being part of a lot of sales and humble bundles, but that's still a huge number), and just came out on PS3 and Xbox 360 as well.
