Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Demo Available Now

by Jeff Marchiafava on Feb 21, 2013 at 11:52 AM

Nintendo 3DS and Wii U owners can get a taste of monster hunting thanks to a single-player demo just released by Capcom.

We're still a few weeks away from Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate's March 19 release date, but if you want an idea of why the game is so incredibly popular in Japan, you don't have to wait. Capcom has released a demo for the game on the Nintendo eShop for both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game. The single-player demo contains two quests and 12 weapons for players to try out as they hunt down Lagombi and Plesioth, two of the game's countless monsters.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate also allows players to swap their data between the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game, which Tim Turi outlined in his hands-on preview of the game from earlier this month.
