Nintendo Comments On Fire Emblem: Awakening Delay

by Tim Turi on Feb 04, 2013 at 10:36 AM

Fire Emblem fans have it tough. The series took its sweet time coming stateside, and even as Japan receives new entries in the series, we can never be certain which will arrive here. So it's understandable why fans would be upset by the Fire Emblem: Awakening's delay, reported yesterday. Nintendo has supplied an official comment, assuring gamers that the game is on the way and is available digitally.

"Nintendo makes every effort to make sure its games and systems are available at retail stores nationwide on launch day," said a representative via e-mail. "Sometimes, because of the variables of shipping, different retailers receive their shipments on different days. Fire Emblem: Awakening can be purchased right now from the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS."

If you're wondering why folks are so impatient to play the game, read Kim's glowing review and you'll understand.
