Reader Discussion: Do Game Demos Make Bad Games Worth Buying?

Ok, so maybe they're not bad games, but it seems popular today to package blockbuster game demos within less popular games.

Dragon's Dogma came with a Resident Evil 6 demo, Bulletstorm came with a Gears of War 3 demo, and most recently, it was announced that if you preorder Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition you'll get access to the Battlefield 4 beta. We would like to hear from the GI community whether this kind of marketing is effective.

Do game demos make you buy games you otherwise wouldn't be interested in?
