Guild Wars 2's Eighth And Final Profession Is...The Mesmer!
With Guild Wars 2 presumably finally coming out sometime next year, NCSoft had to reveal the game's eighth character profession eventually, and now they have: the mesmer.
This class actually debuted in the first Guild Wars as one more focused on buffing and supporting party members. Judging by the limited info floating around so far, it appears that the Guild Wars 2 version of the mesmer will have a bit more flexibility and powers that will allow it to successfully take down enemies.
In the video below, you can check out the mesmer showing off some of these skills, including making the party invisible, creating mirror images that attack monsters, and teleporting around the battlefield.
