The Last 10 Games I Played...In Haiku Form v2.0

by Jeff Cork on Nov 25, 2011 at 11:01 AM

Today, I had a brilliant thought: I could write a series of haiku poems based on the most recent games I've played. Hold up. Haven't I done this before? Don't worry about it. Here's round three!

When you're done reading mine, share your efforts in the comments below! Please don't feel intimidated by my fantastic poems. I've been doing this for a long time, so they're bound to be incredible.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Keep telling yourself
Every glitch, bug, and mishap
Is part of its charm.

Disneyland Adventures
One Kinect-fueled Punch,
The Happiest Place on Earth
Turns into Tear Town.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7
A shower of studs!
Pleasure center overload
I am Pavlov’s dog

Saints Row: The Third
I like this a lot,
Even though it could be called
Dan’s Dumb Brain: The Game.

Rayman Origins
Where did he come from?
That part’s not as important
As where he’s going.

PinballFX 2
A new free table.
Once again, it’s fun until…
Marchiafava!

Bejeweled 3
Match three gems, repeat.
I’ve played this a million times
A million and one…

Batman: Arkham City
Something I don’t get:
Why would hardened criminals
hang with the penguin?

Ico/Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection
The 3D kicks ass,
But I’m cursed into wearing
Double-stacked glasses.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Forget Mega Man,
Here is my roster request:
We need two M.O.D.O.K.s.
