Prepare For Skyrim With Xbox Live Avatar Clothing

by Phil Kollar on Nov 03, 2011 at 12:25 PM

You've pored over the skills and perks, watched the 20-minute E3 demo over and over, and even spent time learning about its music and sound design. What else is left to do before Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is finally out? Dress up your Xbox Live avatar, that's what!

Bethesda sent along this list of all of the Skyrim-themed clothing options now available for your 360 avatar on Xbox Live:

  • Dragonborn Armor – 400 Microsoft points ($4.99)
  • Dragon Bone Armor – 400 Microsoft points ($4.99)
  • Mage Robe – 320 Microsoft points ($3.99)
  • Dark Brotherhood Armor – 400 Microsoft points ($4.99)
  • Dragon Bone Helm – 240 Microsoft points ($2.99)
  • Dragon Prop – 240 Microsoft points ($2.99)
  • Elder Scroll Prop – 240 Microsoft points ($2.99)
  • Magelight Prop – 240 Microsoft points ($2.99)
  • Stormcloak Helm – 240 Microsoft points ($2.99)
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Premium Theme – 240 Microsoft points ($2.99)

Good to see that on Xbox Live, as in most RPGs, heavy armor costs more than mage robes. No word yet on if any avatar goodies will be unlockable from playing the game itself. Anyone planning to deck out their virtual self in fantasy clothes in the week before Skyrim's launch?
