Ace Attorney Movie Has Japanese Release Date

February 11, 2012 will be a good day for Ace Attorney fans in Japan, because that's when the big-screen adaptation will be hitting theaters.

Unfortunately, the rest of us can only wait, hope, and stare at promotional images (like the one above). Capcom has not announced an English translation or a North American release for the film, but we can keep hoping that it will make it's way over here somehow. After all, it worked for Professor Layton, right?

As previously announced, the Ace Attorney movie is being directed by Takashi Miike, which could be a great fit considering his skill with stylized films. On the other hand, this is the guy who directed Audition, so let's hope the lightheartedness comes through.
