The lights are on
The world's coolest attorney (except for Matlock) is going to hit the silver screen in Japan, with a very respected director at the helm.It looks like the rumors are true. The Phoenix Wright movie will be directed by Takashi Miike (Crows Zero, Thirteen Assassins). It's an interesting choice, as his previous work is decidedly not aimed at children (to say the least). Hiroki Narimiya will play Phoenix Wright, while his rival Miles Edgeworth will be played by Takumi Saito. The film is being produced by Nippon Television Network Corporation and distributed by Toho Co., Ltd. Right now, it's slated for a spring 2012 release. Let's hope it makes it to our shores on Blu-ray and DVD at some point.Capcom also revealed the first casting photo, of Mirei Kiritani, who will play Phoenix's assistant Maya Fey.

OBJECTION!!
LOL! I had to say it. :)
I hope this movie will be good.
Burgers, dummy! Burgers!
Sweet! I look forward to seeing how this turns out.
Well, I hope it comes to the U.S sometime. I'd watch it, no matter what.
I DO NOT OBJECT!
nice
I hope it makes a release at the local Broadway Theater here in sunny funny SLC...and I secretly hope that Wrights hair makes an accurate transition from game to film...Got to love Takashi Miike!
OBJECTION!!!..... This is great new!
Please, just bring it over with subtitles. I don't even need dubbing; it will let me see Ace Attorney in its truest form. Just let me understand what is going on. Nor do I need Blu-ray. Come on, they already canceled Investigations 2, so this could definitely make up for it.
