A sweet new feature at the Star Wars: The Old Republic website lets you explore the starships, planets, and space sectors of the new game through a nifty visual interface.
The new galaxy map is one of our favorite features we've seen for an MMO pre-launch, offering a great way to get to know the universe of the game prior to the official release on December 20th.
By clicking through a visual map of the Star Wars galaxy, you can zero in on individual targets and learn more. Want to know about the terrain on Korriban? How about watch a video on Alderaan? Maybe you wish to get the stats on the Defender starship you may be flying? All this and more is available through an attractive, 3D display, with distant stars glimmering all around the periphery.
