You Can Play Minecraft Adventure Update Early Thanks To "Leak"

Patch 1.8 is one of the most ambitious updates for Minecraft yet, grafting a more guided journey onto the usually directionless massive open world that the game provides. If you're one of the many Minecraft players eager to jump in, I've got good news: You can right now.

Over on his Twitter account last night, Minecraft creator Notch was completely open and very nonchalant about a supposed leak of update 1.8. Why would he seem so unmoved by a leak? Well, as it turns out this is apparently an official leak. The 1.8 files are being hosted on the official Minecraft website, and you can download them by clicking here.
