How To Download The 3DS Ambassador NES Games A Day Early
Using some back door methods, 3DS ambassadors can start playing their 10 free NES games right now!
Simply go to the eShop, go all the way to the left and hit "Settings/Other," then tap "Your Downloads." All 10 games should appear in the list. You just have to hit "Redownload." It's kind of a pain to download them all separately, but it's worth it.
As we've already known, these games do not include final functionality like restore points and full instructions manuals. Once they release to the public, ambassadors will get the updates for free.
One thing to note right off the bat is that you can't remap the buttons to your liking. B and A on the NES controller are B and A on the 3DS, which can be very awkward when you think of the diamond shape of the buttons (see below). In Super Mario Bros. for example, I'd much rather have run and fireballs on the Y button and jump on B.
Nintendo really should fix this extremely annoying flaw in the final game releases. It can't afford to disappoint the few 3DS owners out there and it's such an easy thing to change.
