Ubisoft Finally Details PS3 Version Of Child Of Eden

by Jeff Marchiafava on Aug 12, 2011 at 11:44 AM

We've known that Child of Eden would be heading to PlayStation 3 for quite some time, but Ubisoft wasn't releasing any details on what it would entail. Today we know a little more about the project.

Tetsuya Mizuguchi's trippy music game will be available to gamers on September 27, and will feature Move compatibility, in addition to traditional Dual Shock 3 controls. The PS3 version will also support stereoscopic 3D, which sounds kind of terrifying since the game's surreal visions already made it feel like you were flailing your way through an acid trip.

Those are the only changes Ubisoft has announced for the PS3 version, but that hasn't stopped senior VP of sales & marketing Tony Key from exuding confidence over the title. “This is one of those special, rare games that belongs in every gamer’s library, and PlayStation Move integration, coupled with the ability to play in 3D makes for an even more unique experience on PS3.”
