Child Of Eden Hits PS3 In September, Move Support Still Uncertain

by Tim Turi on Apr 25, 2011 at 01:31 PM

Previously we’ve simply known that Child of Eden developer Tetsuya Mizuguchi has only been considering Move support for the PS3 version of the game. We’ve also known that the PS3 title wouldn’t be arriving alongside the 360 version on June 14. Today the company confirmed the ethereal shooter will arrive for PS3 in September, while Move support is still up in the air.

Ubisoft confirmed the release month with Giant Bomb. The publisher also responded vaguely to an inquiry regarding the game's suspected Move support.

"Aside from the September release timeframe and that it will be awesome, we have nothing else to confirm about PS3," said the Ubisoft spokesperson.

Personally, I’m going to stop wondering whether or not the PS3 version of Child of Eden will have motion control support. Using your hands to fire neon lasers has been a focal point of the Kinect demonstrations so far, and excluding Sony’s new tech from the experience would be idiotic.
