HD collections are all the rage in video games these days. Sony kicked off the trend, but in recent weeks we've seen a slew of HD remakes announced, ranging from the Metal Gear series to a reworking of the original Halo. Is Devil May Cry next?
Today, a listing on Spanish retailer XtraLife.es for a Devil May Cry 10th Anniversary Collection was discovered. The game supposedly contains HD version of Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition.
Before you get too excited, a few caveats. The art shown on the XtraLife.es site is actually a mockup created by the site Games Radar. Also, the listing has now been taking down by XtraLife. However, you can view the Google cache of the listing here.
We want to believe this one. It would certainly make a lot of sense for Capcom. However, at this point, there's just not enough hard evidence.
