Majesco Dribbling Its Own Basketball

2K Sports' NBA 2K franchise may be the king, but unlike the NFL, the NBA isn't afraid to spread its license around. Majesco has announced that it is readying an NBA title for release in the spring of next year.

The company has provided little info about the venture, other than to say that it's a motion-based game "unlike most traditional sports video games," and that it will be geared towards a casual audience.

Recently, the NBA outlined its licensing partnerships, including EA Sports and 2K Sports, but made no mention of Majesco.
