Despite being one of the most incredibly difficult games that I've ever played on Xbox Live Arcade, Trials HD remains one of the most successful downloadable games on Microsoft's service. Today developer RedLynx announced that they have reached a new milestone.
After a little over a year-and-a-half of availability, Trials HD and its DLC packs have been downloaded over two million times. Strangely, the Finnish developer also made reference to the fact that it hasn't announced its next project. From creative director Antii Ilvessuo:
"Naturally we are quite pleased with the success of Trials HD, but the most important thing for us is to continue making excellent games that other gamers will like. Whatever the future holds remains to be seen, but currently we have six teams working on six games, so I can guarantee there are other great RedLynx games in the works."
Six games? Here's hoping one or two of them are at least half as successful as Trials HD.
