More Rumors Suggest Touchscreen, Camera For Nintendo HD Controller

There has been no shortage of rumors and speculation regarding Nintendo's new HD console, and while you can't believe everything you hear, some common attributes are starting to emerge. The latest report? Another inside source suggesting that the new console's controller will feature a touchscreen and camera system.

Develop is reporting that an inside source has confirmed with them that the controller for Nintendo's new console will feature a front-facing camera, similar to that of the 3DS. The source also confirmed the controller will have a six inch touchscreen, which was also diagrammed in the leak video from last Wednesday.

The fact that all of these reports are describing similar features seems promising, but I can't shake the feeling that such a high tech controller would be awfully expensive, which sounds like a strange move for Nintendo. We'll have to wait until E3 for concrete details on the new system.
