A new Katamari title may be on the way, as Siliconera recently spotted a pair of trademarks nabbed by Namco Bandai Games. Both “Katamari Amore” and “Katamari Amore Rolling Whopper” were filed on March 25, and are marked as under examination by the Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union.
If the games do come to fruition, they will be the first produced since Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby creator Keita Takahashi left Namco Bandai, after calling the publisher a “so-so company” and pursuing his dream of designing a playground.
Siliconera also pointed out that a trademark for “Time Trip” was filed by the company, in tandem with “Have a Nice Trip!” Could this be a reference to a new Time Crisis title?
