Shenmue has one of the most rabid cult followings in gaming. Even today, thousands hope to one day hear the announcement of the never-made conclusion to the series. Recently, Suzuki has been at work creating an online social game based on Shenmue, and has spoken about his desire to create a third console game.
To tide you over, the legendary designer, who recently won the Pioneer Award at this year's Game Developer's Conference, has teamed up with the site Mega64 to reveal his intended ending for Shenmue III. From tree punching to outer space farting, it's safe to say none of us saw this coming. It also shows that Mr. Suzuki has quite a sense of humor. Good stuff.
