Castlevania: LoS Reverie DLC Will Feature Time Travel
If you’re anything like me you’re dying to kill more vampires and goblins as Gabriel Belmont. Last month Konami announced that two DLC items for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Reverie and Resurrection – will extend the vampire hunter’s story. Some concept art has been released for the first DLC, Reverie, and it looks like Gabriel may be taking a travel through time and space.
Here’s what Konami has to say about the concept art above, which they posted on the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Facebook page:
“Tick tock… It’s time for another glimpse into the upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow “Reverie” DLC. What might Gabriel try to change with this time machine?”
Belmonts, vampires, and time travel? This just got real. I have a few ideas regarding what Gabriel could want to change in the past. How this will tie into gameplay is a whole other question. No details have been announced regarding Resurrection, other than it will continue Belmont's story after the game's ending.
No solid release date or price has been set. All we know is that the DLC is due out in early 2011.
