Voxatron Looks Like A 3D Dot Game Heroes Shooter

Do you know what a voxel is? It’s basically a 3D pixel. Games like 3D Dot Game Heroes are comprised entirely of them, and there’s another one on the way. Voxatron is an indie shooter featuring billions of bite-sized cubes, and we’ve got a video showcasing the action.

According to developer Lexaloffle, Voxatron came about when the team combined work they were doing simultaneously on an adventure game and an arena shooter. The action is divided across individual rooms, which Lexaloffle says is “somewhere between Knightlore and Smash TV.”

In the game is slated for PC release this Fall.
