Fallout 3 Reimagined As A Japanese RPG

by Phil Kollar on Jan 03, 2011 at 01:35 PM

With the JRPG genre growing increasingly small this generation, some angry fans have pointed to Western-developed RPGs like Fallout 3 as the cause. Don't blame Bethesda, though. On the Japanese website for Fallout 3, the publisher has posted a de-make of their post-apocalyptic open world RPG in the style of an 8-bit Japanese RPG.

You can check out the full Fallout 3 de-make on the Japanese Fallout 3 website. Sadly, in keeping with the style, the game is entirely in Japanese, so it may be a bit difficult for most English-speaking gamers to enjoy it. Here's hoping Bethesda also has a translation in the works. You know, if they're not too busy working on Elder Scrolls V.
