The Humble Indie Bundle Closes At 1.8 Million

by Meagan Marie on Dec 27, 2010 at 06:00 AM

The Humble Indie Bundle offered an unparalleled deal this past week, allowing you to pay a price of your choosing for five top indie games while simultaneously supporting charitable causes.

The promotion has ended and the results are impressive. The first Humble Indie Bundle brought in $1,080,964. The second bundle has greatly surpassed that number, racking in $1,823,144.66 of revenue. The final number is a result of 232,849 purchases, with an average purchase of $7.83. The top contributor is listed as Nexus Scorpion, who gave $6,132.96 to the cause.

The administrators promise a more comprehensive donation breakdown at a later date. It will be interesting to see how much of each purchase was given to the developers, to charity, and to the administrators themselves. Regardless, a big congratulations is in order for everyone involved.
