New Rock Of Ages Trailer Recalls Monty Python, Lord Of The Rings
If you haven't yet heard of Rock of Ages, the new downloadable title in the works from Zeno Clash creators Ace Team, you're in for a treat. Today's brief new trailer shows off the game's Python-esque sense of humor as well as its very unique art style.
That goofy sense of humor also comes through in the press release for this video. I quote the following from Atlus manager of public relations Aram Jabbari:
"ACE Team and Atlus are letting people know that Rock of Ages is a game that will not be taken for granite. This game will not roll silently into the night. It's just going to pick up steam and go hurtling through your mind, crushing every last thatched-roof cottage of doubt and hesitation until your defenses buckle and you buy it."
Flinch as much as you want at his punny PR speak, but after watching the video, it's hard to deny what he's saying:
Along with the video, Atlus confirmed once and for all that Rock of Ages will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC. The game is planned for release in spring of next year.
