Assassin's Creed Comic Arrives In November

by Phil Kollar on Aug 16, 2010 at 02:35 PM

When the Assassin's Creed comic was announced earlier this summer to take place in a new time with a new assassin as the main character, our minds started racing with the possibilities of what could be revealed for that universe. We won't have to wait much longer to find out; today DC Comics revealed that the three-issue Assassin's Creed: The Fall mini-series will launch in November.

A post on the DC Comics website has the solicitation info for the first issue. As previously announced, it will be written and illustrated by comic industry veterans Karl Kerschl and Cameron Stewart. The comic "follows 19th century Russian assassin Nikolai Orelov as he strives to claim an artifact of immense power from the hands of the Templars, leading to a climactic and violent showdown with the ruthless Tsar Alexander III aboard a speeding train."

According to the synopsis, there will also be a modern-day tie-in, but it sounds like it won't follow Desmond Miles, the leading man of the Assassin's Creed video games.

Assassin's Creed: The Fall #1 will be available in comic stores on November 10 for $3.99. Anyone planning to pick this up?
