World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta Opt-Ins Active

A swath of destruction and upheaval is almost ready to sweep across the world of Azeroth. Want to get an early peak at the changes? You're going to have to let Blizzard know right away, as Cataclysm beta opt-ins are now active.

Blizzard announced the opt-ins on an official post on the WOW forums. If you have an active World of Warcraft account and would like to be considered for the beta, you can express your interest by checking on the box on your Battle.net profile page.

We already got an early early look at Cataclysm when details from the friends & family alpha leaked last week. My takeaway so far? I would like access to this beta as soon as humanly possible. Here's hoping it's not far away!
