R.U.S.E. – Ubisoft’s upcoming World War II RTS – needs a bit more polish before it hits retail. Previously delayed alongside Splinter Cell: Conviction, Ubisoft has pushed the title’s launch date again from a June window to a tentative September launch.

The news broke via the official R.U.S.E. website and  Facebook page, citing a desire to integrate feedback from the public beta in order to “implement many of your suggestions and improve the multiplayer experience while polishing the overall game.”

Features slated to be improved are listed below.

• The multiplayer menus and filters
• The unit selection
• The order assignment
• The unit behavior and pathfinding
• The strategic AI behavior
• The anti-lag policy and kick system
• and the game balance of course

While the delay of an anticipated game is always disappointing, a title not reaching it’s full potential is even more so.

Did any of you have a chance to participate in the public beta? If so, what were your impressions?
