Mario seems to be on the brain of the community in this week's short and sweet Blog Herding.
Community Blogs For November 2 – November 8:
Which
Games Have Fully Met Your Expectations?
ConnorTrinske was prompted to ask this question after enjoying Super Mario
Odyssey. In fact, he writes that it is the first time in a while that a game
met his expectations. I usually don't watch trailers or read much about
upcoming games, so I am usually pretty stoked when a new game comes out. But
that's not always the case. So, what games have met your expectations?
Microsoft
Has A Problem, And It Involves A Certain Little Plumber
Another blog, and another Mario mention, this time from Marco Polo. Basically,
the blog talks about the reason I have yet to get an Xbox One, and probably
won't ever: the exclusives. More specifically, the lack of them.
The
Best Games Period – Honorable Mention – Stellaris
I'm not too familiar with this game, but Jack Gardner has a podcast all about it if this 4X game sounds interesting to you. I am not even sure
what 4X means, though I have a guess. But hey, sci-fi!
Have
You Heard Of Super Lucky's Tale?
No, McNutty891, I have not. But we are glad to have you back after a short
hiatus to tell us all about this cutesy game. While it doesn't seem like
something I would play, I do enjoy the main character being a fox. And hey,
it's another Xbox One game.
The
Best Games of 2017, #2 – Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands
Trenchmace has me super excited to play this game. I played the heck out of The
Division with a buddy and loved it (we played after a lot of major updates
dropped, which seems like it was a good move). And that's kind of how Trenchmace
describes this game. Not so good at first, but with some updates and tweaks, it's "a
blast."
