Rockstar has come out to clarify that they have no plans to do that with Red Dead Redemption Online, so people can go nuts playing.

As mentioned in the tweet, Rockstar is still responding to the feedback about the economy for Red Dead Redemption Onine, which has received a lot of criticism for how a can of beans costs more than a gold ring. Fans have remarked that the game needs significant retooling to feel as good as Grand Theft Auto Online.
