GTA Online Teases A Return To The Nightclub Lifestyle

by Jacob Geller on Jun 25, 2018 at 10:53 AM

It's been almost 10 years since the release of The Ballad of Gay Tony, GTA IV's love letter to city nightlife. Now, GTA Online looks to be bringing that back in style.

Players will be able to manage and run their own clubs from the ground up, including design, promotion, and staffing. Rockstar describes them as the "perfect cover for any other operation you might have going;" money laundering is an important skill for any aspiring crime lord, after all.

There will be an exclusive "guest list" that players can get on if they log in anytime between now and Monday, July 2. By doing so, they'll receive bonus cash, vehicles, clothes and more throughout July. The first of these handouts will be 500,000 GTA bucks and an orange wireframe outfit, available the week after July 2.

Rockstar released a short trailer showcasing nightclubs hosted by real DJs– Solomun, Tale of Us, Dixon, and Black Madonna– in its online dystopia.
