GI Show — Our Reactions To Skate's Return And The Rest Of EA Play

by Alex Stadnik on Jun 19, 2020 at 03:15 PM

On this week's episode of The Game Informer Show, we dissect the entirety of EA Play and let you know what we think of Star Wars: Squadrons, Lost in Random, and whether or not the publishing giant nailed its digital event. Later, we briefly touch upon the Cyberpunk 2077 delay, predict what we think next week's Pokémon event will reveal, and wrap the show with the return of Community Emails.

Observant fans will note that I am in fact not Andy McNamara. Due to the EA event being past his bedtime, Andy wasn't able to make this week's episode work. Instead, I had the absolute pleasure of hosting with the help of the amazing Andrew Reiner, Matthew Kato, Ben Reeves, Joe Juba, and Jeff Cork.

We continue to do this show from our homes as we hunker down in quarantine, so please forgive us for any audio or video hiccups as we deliver content outside the studio.

Hosting The GI Show was an amazing experience, but also my first time. Please send me any and all constructive feedback for the show on Twitter, and be sure to share the show if you enjoyed it! We really want to continue to better the podcast, and your comments are instrumental in that, so thank you to everyone who's already done so.

You can watch the video above, subscribe and listen to the audio on iTunes or Google Playlisten on SoundCloudstream it on Spotify, or download the MP3 at the bottom of the page. Also, be sure to send your questions to podcast@gameinformer.com for a chance to have them answered on the show.

Our thanks to the talented Super Marcato Bros. for The Game Informer Show's intro song. You can hear more of their original tunes and awesome video game music podcast at their website.
