New Gameplay Today – The Messenger
When I saw The Messenger at Game Developers Conference earlier this year, I loved the throwback to the old-school Ninja Gaiden style. While that early brush with Sabotage's 2D action game impressed me, I finally have the full game in my possession and you can watch me play through a part of the Switch version alongside Leo Vader and Kyle Hilliard.
While I'm not yet done with the game and nowhere near ready to render my verdict, you can learn my early impressions in this quick episode of New Gameplay Today. I acquire a new ability, check out the upgrade tree, platform through several screens, and fight some enemies.
