New Gameplay Today – Contra: Rogue Corps
Konami is bringing back its Contra series with the release of Contra: Rogue Corps, a twin-stick shooter that promises to give players what they need. That is, provided they need a twin-stick Contra game.
Brian Shea played it recently, and he walks me and Leo through some of the highlights. The big takeaways? You shoot a bunch of stuff, there are some silly weapons, and naming helicopters is apparently harder than you might think.
Contra: Rogue Corps launches September 24 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
