The fourth Shattered Alliances trailer for Injustice 2 dropped today via the Injustice YouTube channel. Having seen Batman, Superman, and Supergirl's sides of the story in previous story trailers, this one gives fans a closer look at Gorilla Grodd's "Society", a cabal of supervillains including Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Captain Cold, and more. You can take a look at all the monkey business for yourself down below.

As with previous story trailers, there is a lot to unpack. Eagle-eyed fans will notice that Scarecrow here is shown in a lab oat when standing alongside Grodd, giving some credibility to the fan theory that his appearance when fighting is brought on by his fear toxin. In one dramatic shot, we see Batman and Superman appearing to have a conversation over a ruined Justice League table, hinting at the possibility that the two may have to team up to battle Grodd's Society, or even something worse.

There is a lot of focus on the Flash, Captain Cold, and Deadshot in the trailer, most of it teasing Flash being defeated by the two villains. While it borders on spoiler territory, nothing is explicitly shown, and it does a good job displaying the high level of drama NetherRealm appears to be going for with Injustice 2's story. Let's hope they can pull it off.

Yesterday, NetherRealm also released a cool gameplay trailer for Captain Cold, which you can see down below.

Recently Injustice 2 fans got a look at Catwoman's gameplay in a new trailer, which you can check out right here. The previous trailer focused on several major villains, including Grodd and Scarecrow. You can take a look at that right here.
