Injustice 2

NetherRealm Studios dropped a trailer today via IGN announcing Swamp Thing as a playable character in Injustice 2. The fan-favorite character was one of the most requested fighters for the Injustice sequel, and by the looks of the trailer, players should be pleased.

Displaying a new background stage, the trailer spotlights Swamp Thing facing off with Damian Wayne's Robin, utilizing a variety of far-reaching attacks and heavy hits. Some of his special moves include various grab attacks, a dodge which sees him phasing through the ground, and a low projectile where he launches a log at his opponent. It's hard to put a category on his fighting style based solely on the footage, but the waterlogged warrior looks to be shaping up as a formidable fighter in NetherRealm's roster.
