New State of Decay 2 Daybreak Pack Coming September 12
State of Decay 2 is expanding into unexplored territory in the Daybreak Pack, slated to release on September 12. Daybreak is a standalone mode in which the player suits up as a Red Talon soldier located on a new map that is tasked to defend specific locations from zombie attacks.
As you fight off the swarms, which may include a new blood-plague juggernaut, you'll earn prestige for your base game. You can also unlock Red Talon watchtowers, crafting stations, and other items for your base. If you need better protection, you can recruit a Red Talon elite solider, who can become a leader.
Daybreak matches last for roughly 45 minutes, and progress is not halted upon death. Your soldier will respawn in roughly 13 seconds. This mode is home to a variety of new weapons, consumables, and explosives, including mines.
