Believe it or not, there's more to becoming a professional wrestler than simply putting on a pair of tights and selecting your entrance music. A new making-of video for WWE 2K15 shows some of the training that the athletes go through on their paths to potential stardom, as well as a look at some of the decisions will make in the game's career mode.
The video below shows a little bit of what happens at the WWE's Performance Center in Orlando. There, the would-be wrestlers work out and learn how to handle themselves in the ring. The WWE NXT program is similar to amateur sports leagues that are affiliated with a major-league counterpart. If wrestlers are impressive enough, they could end up in the main WWE roster.
For WWE 2K15's career mode, the developers at 2K Sports wanted to capture some of that progression. In addition to showing off real-world wrestlers and their training, the video shows how players can take their created characters from Orlando to trading slaps with John Cena.
WWE 2K15 is available now on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and it's coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18.
