Watch Dogs
Ubisoft is bringing its brand of open world gameplay into a contemporary setting this November with Watch Dogs. We've heard a lot about the game's focus on hacking, but a new video gives us a more in-depth look at what's possible.
The most important new item is that there are 45 different hacks that Aiden Pearce can use, and these are unlocked via a skill tree. Points are earned by hacking data, and you can't do that without tapping into the local nodes and installing a back door.
We're eager to see what's new with Watch Dogs from Gamescom next week. Until then, this trailer will have to hold us over.
Watch Dogs will be released on November 19, 2013, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version will also be released this fall.
