Watch Wasteland 2's Live-Action Opening Movie

Wasteland 2 is launching in August, but you can watch its opening movie right now to get some background on the game.

It's a live-action affair with both stock footage, and hired actors portraying life in the post-apocolypse. It sets up the mystery of why the world in Wasteland 2 is in the position it is, as well as the role of the Desert Rangers.

In 2012, Wasteland 2 raised $2.9 million on Kickstarter, making it the seventh most successful Kickstarter project on the crowd-funding site. The game is nearing completion and will be available to play at the end of August. For more on the game, head here.
