Warhammer 40,000: Regicide continues to look like a power-armored version of chess, with an extra helping of murder. In the latest video, developer Hammerfall Publishing explains how the five different unit stats impact the game.

Regicide, which is now in Early Access, pits Space Marines versus Orks in turn-based combat. There are a number of different abilities and skills, as well as racial bonuses that impact how you’ll want to outfit and array your troops on the battlefield.

Hammerfall says it expects Regicide to be in Early Access for two to four months (it arrived earlier this month). During that time, the team will be taking feedback, adding content, and polishing.

The development team includes Ross Watson, who has authored a number of Warhammer 40,000 pen-and-paper roleplaying games. The title is narrated by Brian Dobson, who players might recognize from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II.
