Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
While Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection won’t be coming with the series’ multiplayer affairs, it is getting beefed up in other ways. The three-game story collection is getting a host of new modes targeting a trio of different play styles.
For those who just want to cruise the stories (and bounce from one near-death experience to the next), there’s Explorer mode. Here, you’ll get the full effect of the puzzle-like platforming, but combat is significantly easier.
If you’re at the opposite end of the spectrum, you’ll be happy to know that after beating the appropriately-named Crushing difficulty, there’s a new challenge. Brutal difficulty should keep you busy on your quest to break a PS4 controller, especially as it only unlocks after conquering Crushing.
For speedrunners, there’s a timer you can toggle on to keep track of your pace. (How come more games aren’t doing this?)
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be out on October 9 for PlayStation 4.
