EA Sports and developer EA Canada have announced UEFA Euro 2012 digital DLC for FIFA 12 based on the summer tournament.
The real life tourney is being hosted in both Poland and Ukraine, and will run on June 8 through July 1. The game itself comes out on April 24 for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
Apart from taking one of the 53 teams to ultimate glory (including in an online version of the event), gamers can also participate in scenarios culled from real-life events at Euro 2012 or take part in the new Expedition mode. Here you'll choose a player or Virtual Pro from your favorite team, and you'll build the perfect roster of players that you select from the teams you beat along the way. Your goal is to beat all 53 teams.
