Atlus has released a new trailer for Trine 2, an upcoming downloadable platformer with gorgeous visuals and mind-bending, physics-based puzzles.

At the core of Trine 2's gameplay is an emphasis on teamwork. The game features three different characters: a wizard, a thief, and a knight. Each character has their own special abilities, and making your way through the colorful levels will require some clever solutions. You'll switch off between the three protagonists on the fly if you're playing alone, but Trine 2 also features online and offline co-op for you and two buddies to work together. The video below will give you an idea of some of the puzzles and monsters you'll be up against, but to get a better sense of what Trine 2 is all about, read Tim Turi's detailed hands-on impressions of the game.
