Transformers: Battle Tactics
The last time Transformers rolled out onto mobile devices, our titular heroes took on the tactically smart appearance of flightless birds. When the robots in disguise return next year in Transformers: Battle Tactics, they’ll have a more classic look to them, but they’ll also be smaller, cuter, and 100% more huggable.
In Battle Tactics, players will assemble a team of fan-favorite Autobots and Decepticons to take into the thick of turn-based battles. Players can take part in a single player campaign, or take on their friends in online multiplayer.
According to Battle Tactics developer Dena (pronounced DNA), the game will feature over 75 transformers, all rendered in an art style inspired by the Transformers Generations Combiner Wars comic series.
Transformers: Battle Tactics will be free to download on iOS and Android devices in 2015. Check out the gallery below to get your first look at how battles play out.
