In HBO's Game of Thrones, Charles Dance plays Tywin Lannister, one of several players who believe they have been chosen to rule. Dance's role in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is more certain. He provides the voice of Emperor Emhyr var Emreis, the ruler of the Nilfgaard Empire, which is indisputably the most powerful empire in the game's world.

Below, you can see Dance recording a few lines for the game. Afterward, he delves into his thoughts on acting for a video game (The Witcher 3 is his first), and provides his take on the character. You've probably noticed the mainstreaming of fantasy themes in media across the board over the past few years, and Dance offers his take on that as well.
