The Masterplan
It’s hard not to love heist movies. That genre is one of the few in which its easy to cheer for the bad guy as they abscond with some chump’s hard-earned (or ill-gotten) gains. The Masterplan from Shark Punch tries to capture the feel of movies like The Squeeze from the 1970s.
As you’ll see in the video below, you command a gang of criminals with diverse skills. You’ll need a wheelman, a safecracker, someone on the inside, and (if things go south) someone who is handy with firearms.
The game is in Early Access now and is headed for formal release on June 4. For those that played and enjoyed The Swapper and/or The Talos Principle, you’ll be happy to know that the scribe of those two titles, Tom Jubert, is behind The Masterplan’s script and story.
