Tales of Zestiria
The latest trailer for Tales of Zestiria provides our first glimpse of the English dub of the game and introduces to the new characters.
The lead character, Sorey, must become the Shepherd to vanquish the Lord of Calamity and unite humans and a magical race called the Seraphin. The story is more fantasy-heavy than previous games, with the world even featuring dragons.
New to Tales of Zestiria are the large open environments and the seamless transition from exploration to combat. The combat system is heavily inspired from Tales of Graces, but features a new gauge that manages art use. Sorey can combine with Seraphin party members to enter a super powerful state that dishes out heavy elemental damage (which you can see for yourself in the gallery below).
Tales of Zestiria’s release date has shifted from the first half of the year to the Fall of 2015. The game is coming exclusively on PlayStation 3 and features both English and Japanese audio. You can learn a little more about the game in our recent 10 Under-The-Radar JRPGs feature.
