Empty Clip Studios has released a trailer showcasing its upcoming musical action/strategy title Symphony Worlds. The game, which will be debuting on Kickstarter later this summer, allows players to use a variety of musical styles to shape and interact with procedurally generated worlds.

Each planet features weather, a day-night cycle, living vegetation, and environments that can be both molded and destroyed by the player. Music is the number one way to interact with the world; playing a calming classical song will sprout a forest, while playing aggressive heavy metal music is perfect to get out of a dangerous situation.

The trailer below, set to a relaxing classical track, shows some of the different ways to interact . Empty Clip Studios will be publishing a Kickstarter campaign later this summer with details, but expect to see Symphony Worlds on PC in early 2016, followed by Mac, Linux, and consoles later on.
