Strike Suit Zero
Strike Suit Zero Combines Space Combat And Mechs
One of the games on display at PAX last week was Strike Suit Zero, a new space combat shooter coming this fall to PC. Console versions are planned for early next year, too.
Developer Born Ready Games hopes to spark the dormant genre with a twist by allowing players to transform into a mech. You become more mobile and are able to lock-on with multiple enemies in mech form, but it only lasts as long as continue collecting flux power.
The team also signed on Paul Ruskay of Homeworld fame to compose Strike Suit Zero's soundtrack.
